The skateboard was born in the early 1950s by small groups of surfers in need of a wave...1996 Phil CARVER and his crew came up with a mobile spring truck: the surfskate arrived and naturally became an indispensable tool for learning and improving your surfing technique...you start out on the flat and perfect your technique in the neighborhood pumptracks. Discover a wide range of CARVER and YOW (available for testing and sale).
Surf skateboards can be recognized by their trucks, which are much more flexible than other skateboards. Each brand has its own spring or inverted truck system, with varying degrees of firmness and rotation. Thanks to flexion-extension movements, the skateboard reproduces surfing movements and has a unique boosting effect that generates speed, even on flat ground. The coordination movements required of a surfer in action are repeated indefinitely (on a wave, repetition is much less frequent), considerably increasing your margin for progress!
